My name is Raylan and if any of you know about the tv show “Justified”, you’ll know where my name came from. Sure, my mom went all ga-ga for the main character, some guy in a cowboy hat, jeans, and a marshal’s badge on his belt. I’m a girl, but yeah, name me after a guy!

Gotta admit though, I do like the name Raylan… Mom seems to say it a lot. Sometimes loudly. Why, I don’t know. I’ll be outside, she calls my name. So? You can see where I am, what else do you want?? I have serious Beagle things to do!

Here’s one of my earlier photos. As you can tell, I’m very serious about making the bed. I was about 1 here, I think. I’m 4 now, but still as intense as ever. Make the bed right or get out the door!

I might as well confess this right now. Those things they call “bunnies”? Hate ’em. Gotta get ’em. I never actually had one, but still… Supposedly, I go berserk when I see them. And I do that very well, so I’m told. If anyone knows what “berserk” means, maybe one day you can tell me.

Allow me to introduce you to my family.  The ones with fur, that is.  This is Cooper.  We’ve been together since we adopted our moms at the same time.  It’s working out pretty good, we decided.  This was taken on one of our road trips.  Gotta love Red Roof Inn.  We were about a year old here.

Of course, I can’t forget the cat.  I’ll never admit it, but I love her.  Okay so I just admitted it.  She’s a little weird.  I mean, she gets strange when she plays with her toys that has that Cat Nip stuff in it.  You’d think she was drinking beer or something.  Oh yeah, her name is Misty.  When we moved last year and were staying in a hotel, Misty ran out the door on us.  We thought she was gone forever.  My mom and my Aunt Rosie searched for half the night.  We were packing up in the morning.  Still searching.  And then, Cooper found her!!  She was hiding behind a bush not all that far from our room.  Like I said, she’s weird.  But wow, we were happy again.  Cooper the Hero!

Also, see that toy Misty has in the picture?  Aunt Rosie makes them!  Awesome!

Well, I guess that’ll do it for this time, my first shot at Beagle Blogging.  Thanks for taking time to be here!  Hope you’ll come back again!
